Social Fabric

Aplicación Descentralizada

A neighborhood-scale decentralized platform built on Holochain providing trust graph infrastructure, community knowledge commons, supporter funding flows, and local coordination tools. Centered on a sovereign trust ledger that maps relationships and reputation within and across neighborhoods, the platform serves developers, community supporters, and operators of shared commons infrastructure. Features include a Knowledge Commons (community-maintained library of guides across permaculture, mesh networking, clean energy, local economy, and governance), a Scout procurement coordination tool, events, membership and donation flows, and a live trust-graph narrative surface. Built as a Deno/Rust/Holochain stack under the github.com/sensorware/myneighborhood-platform repository.

Dominios de Caso de Uso

Aplicación Descentralizada Atributos

Orígenes Civic tech / Neighborhood infrastructure (motivated by building decentralized, sovereignty-preserving neighborhood coordination infrastructure; trust graph as core primitive for community reputation and relationships; commons-enabling rather than value-extracting platform orientation)
Base de Datos Holochain DHT (agent-centric source chains for trust graph data; distributed peer validation); Rust GraphQL backend (centralized or hybrid query layer for portal data)
Lenguaje de Consulta GraphQL (Rust GraphQL backend — canonical local launcher for shared backend service)
Formatos de Datos Trust atoms (directional reputation links between agents with semantic tags and values on Holochain DHT); Knowledge Commons articles (structured content by domain — permaculture, mesh networking, clean energy, governance, etc.); membership and donation records; event data; procurement leads (Scout)
Edición Colaborativa en Vivo N/A (Knowledge Commons is community-contributed content; no real-time collaborative editing documented)
Edición de Texto Enriquecido Basic text (Knowledge Commons articles with category tags; no rich media editing environment visible)
Soporte Móvil Unconfirmed (web portal appears mobile-accessible; no dedicated mobile app documented)
Soporte Web Yes (social-fabric.us — primary public web portal; Deno-based frontend)
Aplicaciones Nativas N/A (no native desktop app documented; Holochain backend runs locally)
Términos Freemium / Membership (free public access to Commons and portal; membership tiers and donation flows for supporters; sponsor backing for builders and stewards)
Fondos Undisclosed (community-funded via membership and donations)
Basado En Holochain (Int P2P RT — trust graph and platform services); Deno (runtime for frontend portal); Rust (GraphQL backend service); deployment ADR architecture documented at github.com/sensorware/myneighborhood-platform
Categoría de Caso de Uso Civic coordination / Neighborhood infrastructure / Trust network
Tipo de Interfaz de Usuario Dashboard / Feed (tabbed portal navigation: Developers, Supporters, Membership, Commons, Events, Scout; live trust-graph narrative surface; Knowledge Commons library; Scout procurement inbox)
Capacidades sin Conexión Partial offline (Holochain agent-centric architecture enables offline DHT data availability for local data; portal requires connectivity for full functionality)
Funciones de Colaboración Knowledge Commons (community-maintained guides across 7 domains); trust graph (directional reputation relationships between community members); Scout procurement coordination (lead discovery and shortlisting); events coordination; membership and supporter flows
Portabilidad de Datos Unconfirmed (Holochain agent-centric architecture implies data sovereignty and portability in principle; no explicit export mechanism documented)
Ecosistema de Integraciones Holochain ecosystem; Meshtastic mesh networking (referenced in Commons content); mesh node infrastructure; potential future integration with other neighborhood tools
Exportación de Datos de Web2 No (no Web2 import/export documented)
Coherencia Prosocial High (explicit commons-enabling mission; trust graph as non-extractive reputation infrastructure; supporter flows fund shared stack rather than extracting platform rent; Knowledge Commons maintained by community for community; neighborhood resilience focus across permaculture, clean energy, mesh networking, local governance, emergency prep)
Flujos Económicos Yes (membership tiers; one-time donations; sponsor backing; Scout procurement lead coordination; supporter flows fund portal, gateway, and neighborhood programs; Unyt integration possible via Holochain ecosystem for mutual credit)
Gobernanza y Toma de Decisiones Community-governed (Knowledge Commons governance; HOLO-Voting mechanism referenced in Commons governance article; commons-enabling infrastructure orientation; trust graph-informed decision making)
Medios / Publicación Yes (Knowledge Commons articles with social sharing to X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, Truth Social; community publishing across 7 domains)
Gestión del Conocimiento Yes (Knowledge Commons — shared library of wisdom, protocols, and guides maintained by community; domains: permaculture, mesh networking, clean energy, local economy, governance, emergency prep, water systems)
Sensemaking Yes (live trust-graph narrative surface connecting neighborhood intelligence; Scout procurement lead discovery and coordination; trust graph surfaces relationship and reputation patterns across community)
Gestión de Proyectos Partial (Scout procurement coordination tool — lead discovery, shortlisting, watching, profiles; not a full project management suite)
Modelo de Comunicación Asynchronous (Knowledge Commons articles and community contributions; Scout inbox coordination; no real-time chat documented; trust graph updates propagate via Holochain DHT)
Resiliencia de Red High (Holochain agent-centric DHT — no central server for trust data; offline-capable for local data; mesh networking infrastructure referenced in Commons content suggests resilience ethos extending to physical infrastructure)
Mecanismo de Descubrimiento Social graph / Trust graph (trust graph surfaces neighborhood relationships and reputation; Scout procurement discovery; Knowledge Commons browseable by domain; events listing)
Participantes Máximos Neighborhood-sized (explicitly designed for neighborhood scale — trust graph and commons oriented to local community; no documented limit but architecture suggests medium group to large group scale per neighborhood instance)
Soberanía de Datos High (Holochain agent-centric — each participant controls their own source chain data; sovereign trust ledger framing; no platform lock-in orientation; self-custodial architecture)
